Beginner Rider
Never operated a motorcycle in your whole life? This class is for you.
This class is designed for the true novice. We start from the very beginning. Learning is done at your own pace. My goal is to build confidence. If we take time to learn the fundamentals, the more advanced skills will come more natural.
This class can be offered as a one on one class or a group class (all students have to be beginner riders for group classes.) This class can be done in 3-5hrs depending on size and skill of the class.
The class is completed in one day.
After you completed the Beginner Rider Class, you will have the 4 basic skills (straight line riding, turning, shifting, stopping). It is recommended to take the Basic Rider Class if you intend to ride on the street. It provides you with life saving maneuvers and gets you ready for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) skills test. However I DO NOT provide a wavier for the BMV.
Course Outline:
I What makes a responsible rider?
II Getting to know your motorcycle controls.
III Learning clutch control.
V Turning.
VI Shifting.
VII Stopping.
